Nigerians going through most challenging time in national history - CAC President

Pastor Samuel Oladele, the President, Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Nigeria and overseas, has said that Nigerians are going through the most challenging time in the history of the country.

Oladele made the disclosure at CAC 2024 Pastors' Conference held at Babalola Memorial Camp Ground, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State.

The theme of the Conference was"Spiritual Power & Gift for the Body of Christ".

The President therefore called on Nigerian leaders to do everything possible to ameliorate the sufferings of the people.

He noted that the current economic hardship in the country is becoming unbearable for many Nigerians.

Oladele admonished political leaders across the country to remember that they will give account of their stewardship one day before their maker.

He charged them on the need to right their wrongs and do well while in position of authority.

The Cleric also urged citizenry to pray for God's intervention on the affairs of the country, as well called on ministers of God to preach holiness and issues that can edify the nation.

The CAC President stressed the need for Christians in government to bring Christian virtues to the society for the overall good of the nation.

"Government should show concern on the plights of the Nigerians for the country to return to its lost position.

"As it was in the days of the Lage sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Nnamdi Azikwe and others who fought for the nation's independence". He cited.

According to him, the crisis that has caused division in the church will soon be over, as efforts are being made between the two factions of the church to ensure lasting resolution.

He said the 34 years crisis is nearly resolved as the leadership of both factions recently met and prayed together on how to ensure a lasting resolution on the church crisis.
