Chief Imam Charged Youths to Desist From Taking Hard Drug, Cultism

The Chief Imam of Ifeland, Alhaji AbdulSemiu AbdulHammed, has charged Nigerian youths to desist from taking hard drug and cultism.

AbdulHammed gave the charge during the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir festival at Yeed Ground, off Technical College, Ilode, Ile-Ife.

He appreciated Allah for sparing their lives till date, saying that many cannot observed this year festival not because they went to perform Islamic right at Hajj, but they had passed away.

He admonished all Muslim faithful to ensure they always do good to anyone that they have encounter with in life, for all will die one day.

The Chief Imam called on Muslims to imbibe the spirit of fear of Allah in them and totally rely on Him for their responsibilities in life.

According to him, Prophet Ibrahim fulfilled his promised of sacrifices his only son, Isaq, but for the faithfulness of Allah, He replaced with ram that's what they are celebrating today.

The Muslim Cleric urged Muslim faithful to ensure they fulfill the promises to their sons, children wives, friends and siblings.

The Chief Imam tasked the political leaders to ensure that they bring to pass all their promises during their campaigns, for citizenry to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

AbdulHammed advised Nigerian youths to take to the advice of their parents to eshew hard drugs intake and cultism for them to have brighter future.

"Youths should run away from cultism and hard drug intake that can make them run mad, saying these would made them to have brighter future.
